The Nordic real estate transaction market has experienced the effects of global events. It recorded its lowest transaction volume in over eight years, a 51 percent decline from the same period last year. Overall, the transaction volume for the Nordic countries reached 22 billion euros.
The majority of activity took place in Sweden, 42 percent, representing the highest percentage of the total volume, followed by Norway at 24 percent, Denmark at 19 percent, and Finland at 12 percent. Finland experienced the most significant decrease in total transaction volume, with 61 % less in volume compared to 2022. The rest of the activity took place in the Baltic countries.
